The rules we hold ourselves to

• Haywood County businesses never pay. Not for a listing, not for a better position, not for anything. There is no arrangement that moves a county business up or down.
• A paid listing is always labelled, on every page it appears on, in plain words.
• Paid listings never appear among county results. They show up in their own section, below, and only when Haywood County has little or nothing to answer with — the times you would otherwise have driven out of the county anyway.
• Nobody can pay to be verified. A confirmed listing means somebody rang the business and checked. That is not for sale.
• We do not vouch for them. A paid listing is an advertisement. Ring ahead.

If you run a business outside the county

Haywood County has about 14,000 people, and there are things they cannot buy here — so they drive to Jackson, Humboldt or Dyersburg for them. If that is your trade, a listing puts you in front of somebody at the moment they have searched this county and found nothing.
